Prices are more very reasonable.

Please be aware many people bring items to be of help. Being spoken to curtly, told many items are not being accepted, having it suggested we go through the donations outdoors/outside of the facility (I understand not wanting people in the building, but it seemed to be a problem to try to donate clean, folded clothes and backpacks), made us feel more of a nuisance than a help. We have donated in honor of a family member several times and this experience did not feel the items were welcome. We will continue to look for places to donate that seem as open to accepting items as Back Door Mission used to be.

lots of good deals but they go too fast.

I went to and I was sharing my testimony...the guy I think was named Mark...he just upright and asks me if I serve to get glory for myself....I was homeless and I became a Christian at the hope mission. I felt he was attacking my faith as I was seeking to get glory for my self....those kind if people chase people away from Christ....he wasnt homeless. He don't understand what the homeless go through....i was hurt...by him..I guess its how God to him too?

Thank the universe and generous public for a beacon of hope with hot coffee, nutritional food and staff that cares in a safe environment. During my brief stay for meals I was also blessed with new friends, basic necessities, clean clothes and a blanket that kept me and still keeps me warm and comfortable. Unfortunately there was not enough room for me to have shelter there however I hear the sleeping area is decent with fresh sheets provided daily and showers. Please donate today

it was closed on Sunday?

My experience with the center begins around 11 years ago when I had my first baby. I was alone, scared and unsure i could be a parent. The women there nurtured me, cried with me and helped me come to my own conclusion. Over the years, even when my baby was no longer a baby they were there for me as a mom.When I tried to get pregnant again and had infertility issues, they were there for me. When I got pregnant they celebrated with me. Now I have another beautiful baby and they are always there. They love each and every individual that walks through the door.I am thankful every day for the pregnancy and family care center.

Taking care of the homeless can be a very difficult situation I’m glad there are people dedicated to making things happen
